From Part I: I’m for cows out!

Out on the grassy grass,

Out in the sunny sunshine,

Out under a pasture tree

During a summer rain,

Part III: I’m for town meetin’ and democracy.

I’m for the president and wish

Whomever it is all the best,

Because that is in my self-interest.

I’m for trees and the forests they make.

I’m for fields and the grasses they grow.

I’m for cows out- out on pastures

Framed by wooded hills.

I’m for the birds and the songs they sing.

I’m for the bugs and crawly creatures

For the great good that they do,

I’m for good neighbors and good fences and the understanding that these are not always the same.

I’m for rope swings over swimmin’ holes, and kids laughin’ on a hot summer day.

I’m for iced tea brewed in the sun. BLT’s, pickles, and blonde brownies baked at home.
