boooooooooo. eastern NoVA already has plenty of great places to eat, as does Western NoVA, why couldn’t you have built your second location in the place that is far far far more lacking in the quality/atmosphere/aesthetic you bring, Fairfax/Vienna/TysonsCorner. i’m in the center of northern virginia yet both your restaurants are almost prohibitively far away (i still try to make it out to ashburn once a month though, even with the 8 dollars of tolls I’m forced to pay).
Thanks for your feedback! Clarendon Hearth hours are one click away from the home page. Hover over the “restaurant” flag under our banner, and click on Clarendon. You’ll see it. I’ll move it up a little further. Also, anything listed in the flash newsbox can usually be found at http://www.americanflatbread.com/news/announcements/, if you can’t view the newsbox. Take care, Megan
Congratulations on a seemless pairing-presentation last evening. You let Clipper City do their thing and the dishes stood up very well against the Heavy Seas featured.
What a great way to spend a Monday evening! Who’s next?
But in all seriousness, its amazing that in under a year of opening, you’ve gotten two fantastic local craft breweries to come and present at your place. Please keep them coming! And let us know about the next one!
It would be great if you guys would offer vegan cheese, preferably Daiya, for the vegans in the neighborhood! One pizzeria in California saw a 63% increase just by offering a vegan option - not too shabby.
thanks!!!
Kelly,
We will check it out. A little while ago, we experimented with some vegan cheese, but didn’t find any we liked that much. But it’s time to check out the vegan cheese scene again! FYI, you can always get a vegan pizza in our restaurants, only without cheese. I really like a bread with tomato sauce, and then some veggies. Even though we don’t (yet) carry vegan cheese, we are vegan-friendly! Hope to see you soon, and thanks for writing. Megan
sorry to be negative - we love your food but do you know how hard it is to read the font you have chosen on your website? check it out.. you should make it easy for folks to read and choose - but the font you chose for your menu is difficult - letters cross and are not defined.. we love the food though, once we figure out what’s in it.
thx
Thanks Jean. We hear you, and agree. This is the handwriting of our founder, George. We love the font, but see that it is not helpful to use on our website. We are correcting it right now. Thanks again for the extra push to get it done! Megan
Your restaurant is great but it would be even better if you offered gluten-free pizza crust! Please let me know if you decide to offer a gluten-free option.

Any chance of getting some wheat beers such as Allagash, Widmer Brothers, or Blue Star? Thanks.
